Transaction Fee Refund Process
At CoinFlip, we take consumer protection seriously and have implemented safeguards to help protect consumers, work alongside law enforcement, and refund transaction fees to scam victims in instances of fraud.
If You Believe You Are a Victim of Fraud or a Scam
Please reach out to CoinFlip as soon as possible if you believe that you are the victim of a fraud or scam. Our specially trained customer service team will provide you with an incident report form to request a refund of your transaction fees.
To submit a refund request, please contact CoinFlip’s Customer Service Team by calling 877-757-2646.
To complete your refund request, you’ll need to:
Fill out the incident report form
Provide a copy of your police report or government agency complaint (unless exempt by law)
Complete identity verification through our third-party verification partner
We may also request additional information related to your transaction, such as:
Transaction number(s)
Copies of your receipts
Your wallet address

Refund Eligibility
Refund requests must be submitted within 90 calendar days from the transaction date. Claims submitted after 90 days will be denied, unless otherwise required by law.
Transaction Fees
Once CoinFlip determines whether your transaction involved a verified fraud or scam, you will receive a refund equal to the amount of transaction fees collected by CoinFlip, unless state law requires otherwise.
Refund Method
If approved, you will receive your refund via check or another available payment method to the physical address associated with your account.
Cryptocurrency Transactions
Cryptocurrency transactions cannot be reversed because, once completed, they are permanently recorded in a shared public ledger (the blockchain) that no single person or company controls. There is no centralized authority to contact to reverse a transaction or provide a refund. It’s like handling digital cash: once it leaves your hands, it’s gone. For this reason, CoinFlip can only refund transaction fees in most cases.
