This page provides useful information for law enforcement about how to contact CoinFlip regarding requests such as subpoenas, search warrants, court orders, requests to give testimony, production orders or other requests under applicable law ("Request").
Please note that email to [email protected] is the preferred way to receive a Request.
Generally, we will respond to Requests within 30 days of receipt unless stated otherwise within the Request. If you have any objection to this time frame or if the subpoena is issued pursuant to a significant criminal matter that is time sensitive, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request. If you want us to keep the customer account open pending the outcome of your investigation, please note as such in the subpoena. Upon receiving the subpoena, CoinFlip will review the validity of the Request and verify the sending authority.

Civil Subpoenas
If you are attempting to serve a subpoena pursuant to a civil lawsuit to which CoinFlip is not a party, please provide the complaint and relevant pleadings/motions filed in the case via email ([email protected]). We will object to the subpoena without this information.

The default time zone of transactional money transfer data is provided in Central US Time (CST).
Transactions are only identified if there is an exact match - variations are only searched if specifically listed in the request. Inclusion of all possible identifiers on each request is encouraged to identify the most accurate responses in a timely manner.
CoinFlip does not maintain video surveillance or CCTV records of locations that host CoinFlip Kiosks.
